Vertical Wall Gardens
With 6 planters included in each box, Vertical Wall Gardens are perfect for covering large walls quickly and inexpensively with lush plants, herbs and veggies.
Simple Watering Options
Whether you hand water the top planter or use an irrigation system, the water drips from one planter directly into the next with no mess and no spills.
By simply watering the top planter, all planters below will get the water they need as well.
Each planter is 23 3⁄4” Wide x 9” Tall x 8” Deep. While the normal weight of plants and soil is only about 22 lbs in each planter, we've tested up to 165 lbs without failure.
You want to leave 2" between the bottom of one planter to the top of the next (or a bit more if you're growing tall plants).
If you're hanging the planters side by side, you want to leave no more than 4" between them to get full coverage.
Assuming you plant 1 column of 6 planters, it would be 23 3/4" Wide and 74" Tall.
Assuming you plant 2 columns with 3 planters in each column, it would be about 51 " Wide and 41" Tall .
Use either treated wood from a local timber yard or primed pine trim board: 1 1⁄2” x 3⁄4”
Use appropriate fixtures to securely fix wood upright to a load bearing wall or fence.
Attach Vertical Garden to uprights using 8 gauge screws, position using keyholes on each unit.
Position modules at least 2” apart. (More for taller plant varieties.)
Bury root ball in Vertical Garden module using high nutrient potting mix as you would normally.
Move completed module into place.
Easy to install and plant on walls or fences
Customize to fit any area, large or small
Grow organic, fresh herbs and vegetables
Adds extra insulation to your walls saving you on heating/cooling bills.
You'll get a completely covered large green wall when using large plants.
